Care after dental
Food and water

- Your pet can eat 1-2 hours after arriving home.
- To prevent nausea, do not offer food immediately when you get home. Offer half the portion you usually give if he seems hungry.
- Some pets have a decreased appetite for 1-2 days after surgery.
- Do not allow chewing on hard toys or bones (real or artificial), objects (such as rocks, sticks or ice), cow's nails or pig's ears as this can fracture teeth.
- To avoid nausea, offer water in small amounts, every 1-2 hours until he is no longer thirsty. After he is no longer thirsty, you can put a container on as you normally do.
Activity

- Please limit your access to stairs or furniture where you can jump while recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor your pet if you go outdoors.
- Do not play with objects that your pet has to chew and pull for 1-2 weeks.
Dental care

- You can start brushing your pet's teeth, ideally, every day. Any amount of cleaning you can do at home will help decrease the amount of bacteria in their oral cavity. Please use only paste specifically for pets.

If you observe any of the following symptoms, please contact your veterinarian immediately:

- Excessive bleeding from mouth
- Appears to be agitated or uncomfortable for more than 2 hours
- Have difficulty breathing
- He begins to close his eyes as if they were bothering him for more than 1 hour at a time.
- Develops any injury to your body
- Refusing to eat or drink water for more than 12 hours
- No defecation for more than 48 hours
- Diarrhea for more than 12 hours
- Vomits more than 3 times within 12 hours
- Begins to bump into objects while walking
- Has difficulty walking or hopping
